These two prayers have been so heavy upon my heart for my family, those I love and all you true born again sister saints out there.
Colossians 1:9-12
“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
That you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:”
Philippians 1:8-11
“For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.”
I pray that you born again daughters continue striving on in Him and His truth. I pray that you may set aside your flesh and feelings for His truth and perfect peace. I pray that you continue, or begin, seeing Him in Spirit and and truth. I pray that you walk worthy of the Lord and not according to this concept of easy grace that is fooling so many into believing they have salvation. I pray that you may approve those things which are excellent and pleasing to God.
Seek HIM sisters!! Not a “pastor” or author or “scholar” who claims to have it all. You need only the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth. May we all lay aside our pride and fear and step into the truth of God’s Word….our lives depend on it.
I encourage you to take a few minutes and allow the beauty of our incredible God’s handiwork refresh your spirit and remind you that He really does have it all under control!!
